The Lincoln Theatre auditorium boasts six large (15 x 20 ft.) murals that are original to the 1929 décor. Smyth County native Lola Poston is credited with creating these magnificent canvases for the sum of $50 each. Read more about the artist . . .
Painstaking restoration of the original canvases was completed in 2005 by Conrad Schmidt Studios with funding from local and regional sponsors.
